About Calvary Center School

Calvary Center School, located on College Creek in historic Annapolis, has been an outreach ministry of Calvary United Methodist Church for over 40 years. At Calvary Center School, each child is treated as an individual and encouraged to grow socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically in a caring Christian environment. Our preschool program for three-year-old and four-year-old students, offers flexible schedules with extended care options.

Our degreed teaching staff provides developmentally appropriate learning opportunities designed to stimulate and encourage growth of the whole child. Utilizing a study based curriculum approved by the Maryland Department of Education, children are challenged with a hands-on approach to learning. Social studies, science, math, language arts, and art lessons are incorporated into daily activities and we provide Music Classes, Physical Education Classes and Chapel weekly.

We invite you to visit our school to learn more about our programs. See our native Maryland educational garden and herb garden where students use their senses to learn about life cycles of plants. While on campus, you may even see the variety of waterfowl that have taken up residence including ducks, Canadian geese and blue herons.

Calvary Center School is currently accepting applications for the upcoming school year for children three and four years of age. We are approved by Maryland State Department of Education and licensed by the Maryland State Board of Education's Office of Child Care.
