Crossfire Youth is a place where all middle school and high school students are welcomed. Through our youth ministry we strive to reach out to our students, sharing with them an authentic faith, sharing God’s love, and guiding them and teaching them biblical principles that will guide them through life. We participate in a handful of ministries including but not limited to, the Cookie Factory, Summer Mission Trips, Youth Sunday School, Service Projects, Youth Sunday and Sunday Night Youth which is held on Sunday nights during the school year from 5-6:30pm. Activities are open to everyone from grades 6th through 12th, with break out groups for Middle School and High School. During SNYF, we often have snacks, play various games from dodge ball and human foosball to cards, sardines and our own creations. We also share in devotions and small group conversations about faith, God and life in general.
At least once a year our youth take over Sunday mornings here at Calvary. They usher and greet our guests and members as they arrive. They also lead the regular Sunday morning worship services. It is a great opportunity for the youth to share with the congregation their faith, gifts and talents, and to demonstrate their leadership.

Through a commitment to work at our Cookie Factory, we are able to help finance mission trips for our youth to take. Throughout the year there may be multiple opportunities for both Middle School and High School students to engage in a service oriented trip. The mission trips vary in length, some for a weekend, and some for a week. All trips are a time to serve others as well as to connect deeper with God and to grow spiritually. Some activities include home repair, through organizations like Appalachian Service Project, while others include working kid camps through Urban Promise. We strive to give all our youth opportunities to serve others and see the world beyond their local neighborhood. We also have various service opportunities throughout the year that include Angel Tree shopping and helping cook dinner for our Winter Relief guests!
